Service Recommendations: Flanged connectors allow variable pressure, temperature and movement at a very reasonable cost. Solid plate steel flanges grip the sealing area and provide a fluid tight connection. Its unique shape and longer length increases acoustic resistance and dampens hydraulic surge and shock.
