10 inch Carbon Steel Elephant Trunk Dual Basket Strainer

This custom fabricated dual basket strainer uses carbon steel construction and includes quick open covers. The short face-to-face inlet and outlet utilize ‘elephant trunk’ construction which maintains the inlet and outlet on the same plane.

It uses ‘slave linked’ butterfly valves on the inlet side for isolation and check valves on the outlet side for isolation. The unit includes flanged drains with piping and gate valves. It also has flanged backwash connections with piping and gate valves.
