particularly during this festive season. One of the ways we help is
building a tower of non-perishable food items for donation to a
charitable organization’s annual holiday food drive for the less
fortunate in our community. Another worthy cause we contribute
towards is the purchase of books for an elementary school library.
This year’s delivery has begun to arrive and is generating a
palpable buzz of excitement among the students as they vie to be
first to check out the new books. A strong proponent of the
importance of literacy and instilling a lifelong love of books,
this gift “that keeps on giving” has special significance to me.
