We recently supplied numerous Sure Flow Model KG150SS
Knife Gate Valves, Stainless Steel, Resilient Seated in various
sizes from 4-inches to 10-inches. These Knife Gate Valves are used
for isolation and throttling in a blending tank of a reclaim system
used for washing grapes prior to production at a Niagara area
winery. The tradition of wine making in Canada extends back over
200 years and none is more popular than the Niagara Region of
Southern Ontario. Sanitary Basket Strainers were also supplied to
their existing system to catch debris resulting from crushing of
the grapes. These Strainers became an integral part of the pipeline
and flow that passes through it. Manufactured from polished 316L
Stainless Steel with a Teflon gasket, Sure Flow Sanitary Basket
Strainers are intended for applications where frequent cleaning is
required. Sanitary Butterfly Valves are also used for isolation and
throttling to control flow. Our Sales and Engineering team had fun
with these applications. Our customer had a problem. We
manufactured the solution and even included an on-site delivery
visit. Everyone is happy and we expanded our circle of friends.
